Countdown For Christmas

Have been kind of busy lately, with little time for blogging. Have however frequently surfed by many blogs when I have had a spare moment. And I must say, people are really creative and efficient these days before Christmas. I am completely amazed over all the wonderful handcrafts people produce, and over the kozy ways people arrange their homes. Hopefully my work will give me a little break soon, and I can take part of the life of blogging again.

This years gingerbread house was produced with a lot of joy and laughter by our dear son. However, the father in the house thought it was far to crazy and disorganized. Well, Christmas preparations are all about having fun, isn´t it?

California Calling

I am currently on a business trip to California, and should actually be working right now. However, the need for a break and the crave for surfing and blogging is taking my time now. Will start my work soon, after this. Sharing some interior photos from the hotel I am staying in. A little too rustique style for my taste, but okay, I shall not complain. The hotel has good breakfast and very good service, so I am happy. I will end this as the Americans say all the time: Take care!

Boligliv

Mr. P just came home after a week in Copenhagen, and with some hints about what to bring he had the Danish interiormagazine Boligliv in his bag. Even though I know that he thinks that I have far too many magazines alreday, he brought it anyway. Yesterday we went to a great concert with Gåte, and what could be better the day after spending the night out than chilling by reading inspirational magazines and drinking tea?

Opal Glass

Opal glass (In Norwegian also called Opalin glass), is milky white or colored glass. Lately also known as Milk glass. The name comes from the white color that is achieved through the addition of tin dioxide or bone ash. Most common types of opal glass are pressed glass, but can also be found in blown glass and comes in a variety of shapes. Opal glass was first made in Venice in the 16th century, and has been produced in multiple colors that include blue, pink, yellow, brown, black, and white. Opal glass has increasing popularity among collectors.

Tidy Time

Yepp, I know- one should not use Sundays to clean the house or to tidy up all that mess. But sometimes one just have to do it anyway. Today was one of those days for me. I have used some time to clean my son´s closet. Thrown away all those clothes that are lovely, but far too small. The clothes that one just wish he could use forever. Now the closet is tidy and has place for all those lovely autumn and winter clothes. Have a nice Sunday evening!
